Paroá Amazon Lodge grew out of many years of work in the Amazon. Our core team each has over 20 years of hands-on experience — from guiding on rivers and in the forest to operations and management during the period when the Ariaú Jungle Tower was at its peak.

The lodge sits on Lago do Paroá near Manacapuru. It has been developed gradually with local know-how, keeping groups small and the footprint light.

Rainforest conservation is at the core. We keep groups small, adjust the pace to our guests, and share knowledge about agroforestry and agricultura familiar (family farming). The aim is that you leave with a deeper understanding and a desire to be a voice for the Amazon.
